White-tailed Hawk (Gavião-de-rabo-branco)

The White-tailed Hawk feeds on insects, reptiles, mammals, amphibians and even other smaller birds. Also scours roads in search of roadkill. It is less specialized predators than a generalist hawk, which focuses on prey of small size and easy to catch. Practice hunting lookout falling down on the prey of a branch, trunk, cutting or even streetlights. Very flat in search of food. Looking to capture animals burned on bushfires amazed by the smoke.
