A man of many language symbols

This piece of art was recently installed as part of the bi-ennial art project in Vancouver.
If you recognize a language, please feel free to add atag as to the language in english and in the original language.

    Well, my Hebrew lessons are starting to "take". I actually spotted a couple of letters I know.

    I come back to this Mikul. (just my opinion)

    I don't think the word language is 'appropriate' here .
    Maybe I'd say 'graphic symbol/s'.
    The letter 'A' for example is called by someone 'Alpha:The first letter in Greek' :that is correct but is also the first in English, Russian, French etc...
    Other letters such as the Greek 'Σ' is also used internationally in mathematics.
    Other signs here are 'ideograms' not 'letters' like '風' meaning 'wind' (used by Chinese and Chinese related languages i.e.Japanese, Korean)
    Other signs here are sandscript and Arabic symbols which again are used in several languages.
    The only letter/s that is from one language only would be in Hebrew(?)

    My conclusion is that the 'signs' in that 'Piece of art' are used in several 1000 different languages
