I so love this...and the thing I love most is that my corresponding actual periodic element is Mercury, which is what I almost called "crayon". I loved the fact this was a transformative elemnt - existing across solid, liquid and gaseous states.
Mercury is all about transformation and embodies much of what crayon stands for.

Hey I am interested in collaborating on an idea this gives me. Why not put this up as a webpage and create actual image maps (image links) for each box so that people could surf the picture/click on the boxes and actually go to these people's blogs or social media presences?
If you provided me with solid one link for each box I could do the leg work and throw it together this week. Might be a fun little project.
