I really like the mysterious mood created by your choosing to shoot this out-of-focus (at least I'm assuming that this is what you did). And nice framing too.

As far as bokeh, this is like out of focus bokeh (if that makes any sense?) or beyond bokeh, which give this piece the very dreamy quality.

I'm amazed, reading this - it's so wonderful to have something like a conversation happening in my photostream! Thank you all for your interesting comments on bokeh. I think perhaps the contrast is a bit too strong, as it emphasizes the edge of the bokeh bubbles, but I felt the photo as a whole worked better when I brightened it... choices, choices. At any rate, I was trying to capture the feeling of walking from a shaded forest path into the light, and I'm increasingly fascinated by the idea of conveying feelings in out-of-focus ways. Not for everyone, I guess!
