The morning sun was very creative! I shot this with a little Leica MiniLux Zoom (fancy point-and-shoot film camera).

How random... I replied to your comment then did a search for Minilux (because they look awesome) and this was the first result :)

It's a small flickr after all!

This shot looks fantastic. It looks like these things do a great job of capturing ambient lighting. Ever since I got my GR-1, I've been fascinated with little film cameras like this. Does this thing remind you of the GR-1, or is it totally it's own thing?

I'm a fan of coincidences, and this one is so cool!

I love my Minilux Zoom, although I haven't used it for a long time. Phenomenal sharpness throughout the frame, smooth operation, quiet and very small. The tiny Leica flash unit also rocks, in a pinch. I imagine all Leica lenses are great with ambient light, but I can't make a comparison with the GR-1... I've never taken a shot with a Ricoh.

All the best with whichever you choose!

P.S. Speaking of ambient light, I noticed a couple of days ago that you use 645 PRO, which I had never heard of. What an incredible app! I am particularly thrilled with the spot metering and meter lock... and the GREAT low-light pics that are so easy to get!

645 PRO is fantastic, right?! Such a neat app. I love the control it gives, but I'm honestly not a huge fan of skeuomorphic design. Hitting those tiny little buttons can be such a pain sometimes. The low lighting was great for all my Jell-o Shot Bake Off photos I took on Saturday night though. Works perfectly with Snapseed too.

I know what you mean. Changing the "film" type can be especially challenging. I may have to order a Cosmonaut from Studio Neat, although I'd probably lose it in about 2 days. Love your use of "skeuomorphic" in the digital world!
