Hello Goodbye

Taken in Watervliet, New York, about 30 years ago. For some reason the name of that town has stuck with me all these years, but don't ask me the name of someone I just met a half hour ago.

There's a town of the same name in Michigan. Never stopped to ask the derivation there, other. It's no in the dictionary, but I'm guessing there's a dutch connection.

Winter---yes---Wonderland? I don't know! It's sure cold and I managed to get out of the taxi and up my little hill with falling last night---but I'm going out in about 30 minutes and we'll see if I can manage not to land on my butt!
Yes, I talk to my mom at least once a week---and my friend Cyndy writes a couple of times a week so they do keep me kind of updated---Mother is happy because her electric bill is so low for a change!
