Really, a shot like this would be better with a tripod. But I was in a hurry to get to my rental car to drive to the airport and I had my camera stowed away as I didn't plan on taking any pictures on this long walk. Well, as you can imagine, I couldn't resist to stop for one minute to grab this shot real quick. I didn't even have time to make any adjustments in my camera settings. This was a true point and click snapshot.
Post processing (and boy was there a LOT), I took a slightly different
approach. I wanted to try to get close to the “levels” of light that
I saw when I stopped to make the picture. The result is a slightly
underexposed photo, but (IMO) truly “feels” like dusk. Even with low
levels, I had to smear a lot of the detail in order to eliminate some
noise – and even then, it's still kinda noisy. Not meant to be viewed
