Another hand held HDR... this time 5 exposures. If you look closely, you can see some ghosting in the water wheel. I was too lazy to use the anti-ghosting feature in Dynamic Photo HDR...

In Venice, Italy – thousands of striped mooring poles, or “palina” can be found throughout the canals. It is said that they are a six-century old tradition and hundreds of years ago the colors on the Venetian mooring poles represented the families who owned them. Today, aging wooden poles in Venice are being replaced with plastic poles in order to reduce maintenance costs.

This is a replica of a common scene that you might see in Venice, Italy, with the palina and an empty gondola awaiting it’s passengers.
