Look up!

Look up!

I shot this while walking with my younger daughter. We were on a photo walk (we were really out walking the dog but it gave us a chance to shoot) and I saw her pointing her D90 straight up. I asked her what she was shooting and she replied, "the branch silly..." So I must give her full credit for this interesting shot. D7000, 80-200 f/2.8 AFS, 105mm, f/4 1/100. Silver Efex Pro 2. Zero flash used here... used a green filter in Silver Efex.

Salmon Falls

Salmon Falls

Went up to the Salmon Creek falls area on a dreary autumn day. The river was lower than usual and I was able to get a perspective from standing in the river. This is not usually the case. There are mine shafts all around the area and the "made by humans" items to the right are all from the gold mine. There are lots of interesting relics around up there... I'm going back to get some grungy rusty HDR's of them soon!

D7000, 7 shots, 1 EV apart, Promote Control with Photomatix and CS5 with Cokin Polarizer and ND .09.
