Maybe Tomorrow - Liuzhou Flood 2009
![]() Another grandmother takes her young grandson home after checking on their apartment. The water was receeding by this point but not enough that they could get inside and begin to clean up. She shrugged it off, saying "Maybe tomorrow... ".
Flooding here is fairly common. The Liujiang usually leaves its banks at least once a year. This year was the worst in many but nobody ever appeared to be overly concerned. True to form, they all did what needed to be done. It only took about two days to get everything cleaned up. It was almost all done by hand. More about my life in China on my blog. Commentsmhobl
