The Beggar

The Labor Day Holiday has come and gone. I didn't do much really but I did make a huge dent in my to-do list. I finally made it out Sunday afternoon and walked over to Yu Feng Park. It was, in a a word, amazing. As usual, the opera troupe was there performing on the main stage to a large, appreciative crowd.

In two hours I filled a 4GB memory card with images shot in bright sunlight perfectly filtered by the huge old trees that surround the stage.

This is probably the final shoot with these guys before the photo-documentary is published in June. I'll begin here today with some portraits of the performers, with much more coming soon.
