China Plaster Blister

a profile
China Plaster Blister by Expatriate Games.
This will be hard to believe, but while the top of this floor of this two story building is deserted the bottom hosts an active array of clothing and specialty shops. I took this from across the street and was intrigued by the way the plaster had blistered up to reveal an old vibrant sign. No one I asked could remember what the building used to be. The dirt streaks and stains are a result of the traffic which plows by here day and night.

Photo's like this always make me wonder about the history of the building, what they once looked like, or even who the first owners were. Interesting shot, taken well.

Michael, it used to be offices there above. I remember the building was once painted bright colors, red and blue but it was a long time ago. This photo is a bit sad for me.
