East. It's a compromise trying to make the
best of what we have as it's a refurb. We'd
just about pull in enough south-easterly
sunlight for roof lights / solar collectors;
and just about pull in enough south-westerly
sunlight to get some benefits from the two
storey glazed section at the rear. More here:
ok, but there's something I don't get.
Wouldn't it make more sense to put the solar
collectors on the other side and just open up
that part of the roof where the collectors
are now to more daylighting? (cause that
would look kick ass from that balcony railing
there.) In essence, flipping that mess?
(yes, yes, you can tell me to STFU.. I'll
go read the brief. I'm going, I'm going...)
