This is now my former car. It was the car that brought our baby home from hospital, and over the three years we owned it nothing went wrong - we just don't need another full-sized car, especially as the insurance was getting silly. As a general rule of thumb I don't like the premium to be more than the value of the car.

Sold with 60,535 miles, an average of just over 5,500 miles per year. Long may 'Sally Sierra' aka 'the wafter' (the gearbox is soooo lazy!) waft on.

Photography note: it was dark. This was a tripod mounted camera with an exposure of 1.5 seconds. Fill light for the interior was the built in flash plus my other flash handheld and manually fired, bounced off the sunroof cover. I'm quite pleased with the light balance, all things considered.

A Mini All4, parked facing a full-size Mitsubishi Shogun. Surely there ought to be more of a height difference than this?

I've seen this Marina around a few times, but never when I haven't been late for work or dashing home. As chance would have it I saw it turn in to this car park as I was wondering whether to let the kid stay asleep in the back of our car or to go straight home and see if she woke up. The ideal opportunity to double back and take a picture.

And what had tired out the kid by midday? The excitement of going to Carcraft. No idea where she gets if from ...

This van has been owned by the same chap from new. The guy who owns the furniture shop next door told me it has about 350,000 miles on the original engine.
