DeCA opens new commissary in Belgium with a little help from USACE
On January 20, the ribbon was cut and the doors were opened to anixious customers who poured into the new Chievres commissary in Belgium. The $16 million, 48,000 square-foot facility opened to customers who eagerly waited for over an hour in frosty temperatures to be among the first shoppers in the new facility. The new commissary has wider aisles, more items, a chicken rotisserie and a deli counter for the SHAPE community. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Carol E. Davis)
