I had the privilege of working in this concession stand and making the popcorn, using an old time popper. There are no chemicals in this delicious popcorn! Just a squirt of oil to pop it and another squirt of salt and that is it. One can add real butter if they want to. Many people came just to buy the pop corn without going to see a movie.

Butter, salt, the aroma of popped corn...ahhh. It emanates from this photo. Takes me back to some theatre in Omaha whose name I can't recall (yes, Omaha) and red velvet curtains across the screen that glided open as the movie started. A real sense of anticipation and drama.
