there's always room for jello!

went to a barbecue/shindig at my friend, candice's, parents' house on the fourth. candy's very cool mother, noreen, made this, and of course, i had to get a shot of it. she said it was all sploogy at the bottom, just 'cause the pan wasn't cold when she slid this on it, and so the jello sort of "melted."

first layer is blue raspberry, then a lemon cream center, then cherry for the top layer, with whipped cream stripes, and blueberry stars. i'm kicking myself that i totally forgot to have a piece. then again, i'd just eaten my weight in barbecue and pasta salad, and had already had a slice of double-chocolate layered cake, so um, ahem.....
