yeah... the Hallowe'en candy is the start of it... once that's gone, then comes the shiny autumnal colors of the mini chocolate bars - a bit of a fix until the xmas candy starts filtering in... then home made cookies, corporate gifts of cheese popcorn and caramel corn and jellybeans, fruitcakes that everyone makes fun of (but eats secretly), ribbon candy and candy canes... then the hypoglycemic sugar crash of January...

But then - oops! It's Valentine's! Easter hard on Cupid's heels, and we all wonder how we got so fat over the winter!

Of course, the bookcase that is my back cubicle wall is the only flat spot available in the office for sharing this bounty...
