Am Flickring again..

In many places around the world, grasshoppers are eaten as a good source of protein.
In Kuwait in the old days for example, grasshopper are used as a snack or filling.

Orthopterans have a generally cylindrical body, with hind legs elongated for jumping. They have mandibulate mouthparts and large compound eyes, and may or may not have ocelli, depending on the species. The antennae have multiple joints, and are of variable length.[1]
The first and third segments of the thorax are enlarged, while the second segment is much shorter. They have two pairs of wings, which are held overlapping the abdomen at rest. The forewings, or tegmina, are narrower than the hindwings and hardened at the base, while the hind wing is membranous, with straight veins and numerous cross-veins. At rest, the hindwings are held folded fan-like under the forewings. The final two to three segments of the abdomen are reduced, and have single-segmented cerci.

Dragonfly, or yanma, is a type of insect belonging to the order Odonata, the suborder Epiprocta or, in the strict sense, the infraorder Anisoptera. It is characterized by large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings, and an elongated body.

Dragonflies are symbols of courage, strength, and happiness, and they often appear in art and literature.

This dragonfly found by my beautiful wife.. god bless her..

Palmyra I

Life return to Palmyra
was in ancient times an important city of central Syria..

My first "Digital Painting" using Adobe Photoshop.

Fine arts, sketching, painting, both digital and traditional mediums.
Digital illustration is one of my favourite subjects..

Hope you like it..

The main difference between digital and traditional painting is the non-linear process. That is, an artist can often arrange their painting in layers that can be edited independently.
Computer illustration or digital illustration is the use of digital tools to produce images under the direct manipulation of the artist.
