Google datacentrum Eemshaven

Construction for this Google datacentre by TCN Sig Real Estate started early 2007. Goes into operation in H1 2008.

This is claimed to be The Netherlands' largest datacentres. It is located a few hundred meters from the sea and as far from a the Electrabel power plant Eemscentrale.

Also check out these pictures I took of Googles first datacenter in the city of Groningen, The Netherlands (Eur.), back in 2004.

These datacenters are 38 kilometers away from each other, or 25 miles.
