The shot

Standard 3 exposure HDR [-2,0,+2Ev] in RAW/ISO100 at f/11 using the Sigma 10-20mm lens, on a tripod.

Photomatix

Tonemapped using the detail enhancer.

Photoshop

° Curves.
° Deepened the blues of the sky by altering the lightness in 'Hue/saturation/lightness'.
° Some dodging on the water and the church.
° Some manual bluring on the tree around the sun.
° High pass sharpening :
- Make a duplicate of the layer.
- Select Filter>Other>High pass (Select 10 pixels)
- Change the blending mode of this layer to 'Hard light'
- Change the opacity of this layer to around 30 to 60%.

    Excellent composition. I can say that you've used all kind of technics here: composition, enhanced colors, perfect light, etc. Congrats. The beauty of the building became "less important", I can say.
