Yes, I am giving this photo a weird title, because it gives me a feeling of an ancient temple sitting next to a modern space colony with comet tails flying above, very sci-fi right? This is actually a picture taken at night during my visit to the Kiyomizudera Temple - one of Kyoto's most famous temples. At the back of this photo you can see the heart of Kyoto city center, and at the top of the hill where the temple is located, they generate a light beam shining towards the city, which can be seen from far far away. If you plan to visit Kyoto during mid-November to mid-December, you must pay a visit to this spectacular landmark. Just to remind you though, they prohibit the usages of monopod and tripods... which makes night photography a challenge.
