Alps Soaring 1
I took this while on an an early morning flight from Munich to Rome.
The flight was on a rather small commuter jet from Alitalia, meaning
we flew low. I took these pictures from my window, and then a flight
attendant on a power trip told me I couldn't take pictures on the
plane! Unfathomable! There is no reason why one cannot not use a
camera while on a plane. Tragic because the view got even better, as
the mountains moved into a better composition :(...

I understand completely! Check out my aerial views set! I have had to put the little Minolta DiMage in the sleeve of my coat or my shirt to "sneak" some pix! WONDERFUL picture! So glad you got it!!! I love aerials and if I could I would fly everyday!

Gorgeous shot! Dream shot! You did very well to capture this- it's so difficult to get the right angle on a plane window to stop reflections, let alone get past the old and young devils who don't want you pinching their view for 5 nanoseconds!

Fantastic shot and lighting, really beautiful sunbeams and amazing scenery! Great job catching that from the plane... and what a stupid flight attendant! Ignore them. After all, what are they going to do- throw you off the flight...? :oP
