This is supposed to be a contiguous region of the midwest that has an early frost (you can sort of see the great lakes), generated from data from the National Climatic Data Center.

Due to some (rather frustrating) bugs, it's not drawing "properly". But it actually looks quite beautiful.

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
