haha. I used to work for CVS. I know aaaall about their inflated prices, but I used to save a ton of money there with manufacturer's coupons + CVS coupons.

These look so tasty! Let me know if they're good. :)
$70 savings! by ekachick.
Not the ridiculous savings MoneySaving Mom would have gotten, but the total before was about $100. After sales, discount and coupons, this totaled under $35!

(I linked to some of the printable coupons - the rest were from circulars.)

I used to be so good about the coupon cutting and pouring over the sale ads to get the good deals, but I'm lazy lazy lazy now. When I get home every night, it's just the last thing I earth I want to mess with. I used to get such a rush out of looking at the bottom of our receipts and seeing how much I saved. Heh.

I'm impressed! Here's a question i have about coupon savings: would you have bought all that stuff if you didn't have a coupon? i'm always afraid of just getting a bunch of stuff in this manner, for fear I won't use it because I prefer other brands, etc. Are these brands you would normally buy? I rarely use all the coupons I come across because 99% of the time, it's not for brands/items I buy. I want to save money, too! hehe.

@miss moxie: Yup, this is stuff we use all the time - same brands - with the exception of the dishsoap (I like Sun & Earth normally) and the soap (we usually use Kiss My Face stuff). What I've done is search out online coupons/printables, but I clip coupons every Sunday for stuff we use and then hope they soon line up with sales.

Though the Kashi TLC cookies were a bit of a treat. :-) (We really liked them, but I remember your post about pb&j sandwiches, and these cookies are really on the crunchy-granola-y side. :-))
