Dawsonia longifolia

Dawsonia longifolia by Eric in SF.
Widespread species from Southeast Asia, New Guinea, Australia

This was a fairly common moss on Kinabalu, and very tall, approaching 6 inches. I've read references online stating this moss can grow to a meter tall!
