Michael F from the University of British Colombia Botanical Garden Forum provided the ID - Crataegus pubescens.

I was pretty sure it was in the Rosaceae.

Apparently it's called Manzanilla in Mexico (spanish for little apple). I guess I'm not the only one who thought they looked like apples!
