Kyoto's Fushimi-Inari Taisha was the number one location on Mari's list of "must see" places in Kyoto. Probably the most amazing thing about Fushimi-Inari Taisha is the thousands of red torii (gates). March 19, 2008.

Nice one anyway, like the inclusion of the lantern.
Apparently there have finished all the work they were doing there in 2011 when I was last there, so it will be worth going again.
