After the Rain

My wife and I took a trip to our alma mater, Oregon State University yesterday. Turned out to be a fantastic day for taking photos once the rain stopped. Nothing like a cool fall day on campus. I also picked up a Canon 50d last weekend and this was my first chance to get out and shoot with it . . . all I can say is WOW! Coming from the rebel xt this thing is amazing. The speed that I can change settings at, being able to check sharpness on the LCD, the larger viewfinder, are all great. I had many more keepers from my shoot yesterday than I ever had with the rebel xt.
