"Yeah, you're going to graduate college, and then you're going to find a job, and you're going to marry some nice girl and buy a house. And then one day, years from now, you're going to be standing outside in your yard, and this hand is going to come out of the ground, reach up, and grab you by the balls, and it's never going to let go."

Another simple but amazing photo...your dad's philosophy sounds pretty much on target to me from my own experience in this life (except I don't have balls...something grabbed me by the hair and keeps pulling at me).

It makes me wonder what the feminine equivalent of "balls" is. In most cases, "balls" can be a synonym of "guts", as in "reckless courage", but I don't think it sounds right to say "life grabs you by the guts" in this particular instance.
"Life grabs you by the ovaries", anyone?

... I'd go with "mammaries" (or slang equivalent) ;)
