Route 285 to Santa Fe

Route 285 to Santa Fe by eqqman.
So, I made it to Santa Fe all right and started my job as a props carpenter at the Opera. Unfortunately, my computer monitor fried on the trip, leaving me pretty much stuck in the mud when it comes to digital photography. No Photoshop, no dumping my memory card, etc. Not to mention, limited access to internet. Hopefully, I'll figure something out soon, cause I'm getting some great pictures out here. New Mexican skies rock! See you all soon!

Look how flat... man. Best wishes in NM, it was great to get a chance to hang out with you before you made your trip. When you gonna make it back out to PA?

I'm done my job here at the end of August, so I'll probably be back in PA in September, less I get a job somewhere else.

yay! I look forward to seeing more photos! Your excitement of being there has me wanting to make a trip back to New Mexico. Good luck with figuring out a solution for your monitor. That stinks. :(

"Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:

Raoul Duke: Holy Jesus! What are these goddamn animals?! "

Hope your new job kicks ass, and have a great summer!!

Is your pc still fried? I hate that, mine is in the shop too. In the odd case you can't find a satisfactory computer to use -- If you're in ABQ on the weekends you're welcome to come in to where I work and use the PC's.

Erin, great reference! Thanks!

Fuzzycub007 - Thanks, man. I don't really get that much time off, and there's some people here whose computers I borrow from time to time, but I'm glad you offered!

Hm, I had contemplated going back to PA via Colorado and 80. Something to think about.... I'm not going back until the end of August, so I guess I have some time.
