boy meets gundam

so i finally went to see it.. even though they're still setting up the whole shebang, the white barrier fence was gone and was able to get really close shots..

i managed to capture this one while changing lens.. people taking snapshots, kids playing around the field... it was pretty surreal experience... kinda reminded me of 0080 war in the pocket. if you know what im talking about, you probably should visit before it officially opens on july...

Nice! Does it move and belch steam and such? Can you climb up inside and sit at the controls? Is there a little man behind a curtain controlling it? What is it with Japanese and giant things that level Tokyo or some other urban area?

The head moves up and down and steam comes out in many different places... It seems like the hand could also move too but I doubt it lol... The thing does look amazingly crafted though... Probably running cost at in US million hah
