This is one I forgot to post from earlier this summer. When Myra was visiting she told us how much she liked basketball and wanted play basketball, so when we got a chance to get some free tickets to see the Detroit Shock play the LA Sparks we jumped on it for her.
Here she is very happy to be at the game. But, having spent most of her life in California, she then messed around and cheered for LA. Booooooooo!
This, by the way, was the game where Rick Mahorn went all yackity-yak and played knick-knack on Lisa Leslie. I have some very noisy-grainy-camera-shaky shots of that too. Rick is huge and LL is rail thin so you can imagine how ugly it looked when he sent her flying about 15 feet across the court.
We have to excuse Rick though. He went to Hampton. He don't know no good (You know that's an "Institute" right?).
