Vnice. I like the sepia / hue shift.
It's better that you have the coffee addiction and she has the Tamagochi care syndrome :)

Tamagotchi's were all the craze when I was at school... it's weird to see them coming around again...

And I just noticed the sepia (brownish-red) tint all over... except for outside, and the exit sign...
Was that intentional?

I guess your camera doesn't show because you can montage it out of the picture. I like the sepia tones

yup - I like this and having a brace of young'uns who are mad keen on tamagotchi's I feel for you as a surrogate father. The capital streak in me thinks I could maximise from charging cups of tea per day babysat tg, the hippy in me half thinks wtf - it's a bleepy thing that means jack / aww look at the nurturing instincts going in there. It's proper polarised my head tank man.

Fantastic composition, pM. I love the desaturated colors and Moo's look of engrossment.

Outstanding! There is just so much going on in this image. Love the way you captured the girl and made her the centerpiece. The arms extending into the image really create a nice perspective of the scene. Plus the muted coloring of the image is perfect.

crikey.
thanks for the kind comments and fav's all!! is always appreciated :)

@falcifer, not intentional no, but it wasn't left out of the process, its (after flatening) actually two layers, the top layer having been desaturated and then high-contrastified (ooh new word) and then made transparent...

@mimpy, i was using the camera, so it couldn't make an appearance :)

@DD, i have to say it is your brace of young'uns that is responsible for introducing my moo to the crazy little bleeping key ring. i think two or three have perished already... i should organise (in writing) a babysitting schedule with her mother...

@ds, thanks mate, i will be in touch soon. :)

@scovo, thank you, i'm pleased with how this one came out...

This is a great series of pictures. I've gotta learn how to do that ! Any advice or guideance on where to start ?

DB-UK thanks, very kind of you to say... as for guidance i can only say that the process is pretty much laid bare. Find a spot and take a photo of everything in your range of vision and then 20% more. I then place each frame as a layer in a new Photoshop document and push, shove and tweak until the completed image comes through. The image is then flattened and a bit more tweaking with contrast and colour balance until i'm either bored of it or happy. The happy results then get published here, the 'bored of' ones sit quietly in a file on my hard drive taking up valuable space. I think the thing to do is have a go with a smaller size piece (5-10 shots) and see how it feels for you. i look forward to seeing your results. :)

Gosh! Truly fantastic! I've had a go at this process myself before, but have never ever been as successful as you have been here. Awesome organizational skills needed to do this sort of work. I get a bit lost with more than seven bits to place. I love that both your hands are in the frame too.
