Stratford Hall Catalog Typo

    My friend Dani received this catalog at work. The typo on the cover (near the end) is truly astonishing. THIS IS NOT A PHOTOSHOP. It's a scan of a real catalog cover. Dani has the hard copy (for possible framing, heh).

      Hey Jon,

      "error's like that make me sick"

      Do they really? Which errors in particular? Apostrophes? They can be tricky I guess.

      This truly is horrifying. It's impossible to find people who are truly great at anything anymore. When I do manage to find one, I am thrilled beyond words...correctly spelled words that is!

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Although we would like everything we mail to be perfect, we are human and errors slip by - you guys caught one.

      Well caught. Peressini sent me to this page. ;-)
      Reminds me of the calendars our local Chamber of Commerce put out a few years ago. They got pulled off the shelf when someone was overheard saying that they were buying them for gag gifts. Seems that some brilliant person downloaded a calendar page off the web and just copied it for each month. Each month then started on a Sunday and had 31 days. Oops!!!!!

      @Hodgey

      That is bad. Which muppet thought they'd get away with that one?

    14. Hodgey (48 months ago | reply)

      I don't think they'd own up to it ;-)
