The Prudential Tower has a magnificent view of Boston but you have to shoot through many layers of glass. I used my K-7 and a small pancake lens (DA 21mm f/3.2) on a small tripod (Ultra-pod II, the best 20$ I ever spent on a photographic equipment) as close as possible to the window. My Tilley was then used to cover the eventual reflections. See it large on a black background:

Wonderful! I have used it in my brand new book for Kindle called "Home to Boston", a children's photographic and descriptive look around Boston's famous and historical locations. www.amazon.com/Home-to-Boston-ebook/dp/B008YJ6SZ0/ref=sr_...
Thank you so much for sharing your photo!

Superbe! Yeah, the view from the Pru is great but you have to deal with the reflections. Too bad John Hancock closed their observation deck: the glass there was better.
