yup, my macbook has broken. The case, anyway, at the right hand side wrist rest.
I've got an appointment at the Apple Store so hopefully they can fix it - thank you 3-year education warranty.

Update: getting replaced pro bono: should have cost £95...
Update 2: Wow - part ordered on Friday, back in on Saturday - quoted 7-10 days - fixed in one hour!!! Brilliant - that you Apple Buchanan Street, Glasgow.

Got my Macbook repaired lastweek. My Macbook was 6 months out of warranty but it still cost me nothing.

Took the Cambridge Store 4 days to complete the repair.
