    Note: I really like LOTR. This time I made my own pattern with screenshots, Photoshop, and help. I broke down and bought an artificial pumpkin (couldn't tell could ya?) and took my time. I will never carve a nice pattern into a real pumpkin again (Gandalf is gone, but I still have Saruman in my closet) Total carving time about 12-14 hours. Time spent making the pattern, 6 days. This picture, priceless. Note: a year has gone by, my pumpkins are improving, but I'm still single. What gives?
