Monday, Bloody Monday!
When that alarm bell rings on Monday morning, I bet few of relish getting up to tackle the first day of the working week. After a tiring weekend of watching 6 nations rugby in various public houses across London, the pouring rain drumming against my bedroom window was hardly added incentive to get up this Monday morning. That was, however, before I remembered what today had in store for me.
Today was Monday 9th Febuary and I had a rather special engagement in a classy Pimlico hotel to attend. Remembering this, I was more spritely out of bed, into the shower and ready to leave then I can ever recall. Today - I would be taking part in a rather saucy photo shoot for the Energy Saving Trust PR team with none other than Britain\'s favourite beauty - Lucy Pinder. The shoot was to provide a talking point for us around Valentines day and the fact that for many of us Brits celebrating this day with our loved ones - Home is where the Heart is. And whilst at home lovin it up this Saturday, there are many ways to reduce your impact on the environment - whilst keeping your love life hot! What the hell was I doing in a saucy photo shoot? Well, you\'ll be relieved to hear that I kept my clothes well and truly on. Quite the opposite in fact - as I once more donned the Energy Doctor lab coat over the top of my best suit and shirt - freshly ironed for the occasion. Lucy was on fire - steaming up the room in a number of different poses and every now and then I\'d be called in to give her a helping hand on the energy saving front. Stethoscope and all... The end result was excellent. We\'ve got some superb photos to help us attract people\'s attention about saving energy this Valentines day. Lucy seemed pretty happy with them and was really clued up on saving energy in general. She was the one who beat me in a conversation we had to bring up the importance of the sexiest of all energy saving measures - insulation. She knew all about it. I was very impressed. When the shoot was finished, we packed up, said our goodbyes and I made my way back to the office. Not a bad start to the week I must say. It\'s a tough job, but hey - someone has to do it.
