Way of the Cross
Looking back at my photos of when I visited Jerusalem during Holy Week in 1992... These Franciscan monks re-enact the walk of our Saviour Jesus Christ up the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief/Suffering)...

I have to admit that I not too much into church or religious things (although I believe in an allmighty power) but this image is really touching... it symbolises the suffering of a man 2000 years back and sort of - for me - symbolises all the atrocities commited in the name of that man during all the following centuries... I doubt Jesus would be happy with what his followers did to other human beings in the centuries after his death.
