Abita Purple Haze

Abita Purple Haze

Abita Purple Haze, which i just is discovered a "Rasberry Flavor Malt Beverage". Odd. It actually tastes pretty decent, but actually use more carbonation in my opinion. It's a bit "flat" for my liking.

Samuel Smiths Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale

Samuel Smiths Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale

You would think raspberry beer would be an ill conceived oddball beverage, something like Boon's. Luckily it isn't. Leave it to the geniuses at Sammy Smiths to figure it out. Bubbly, a great violet hue and sweet but far from cloying. Brilliant stuff.

Moo Thunder Stout

Moo Thunder Stout

Trying Moo Thunder Stout by Farmhouse Ale for the first time. It's got a great, unique, slightly sweet flavor, I really dig the graphic design of the cans as well. Plus it's local, made here in Upstate New York.

Straightening Bent Spokes

Straightening Bent Spokes

Doing my best to "straighten" (read: bash!) these mangled and bent spokes on one of my BMX front wheels. I tried lacing, unlacing, twisting, prodding, gouging, smashing and every other naughty double entendre sounding verb I could think of to get this wheel back into true... It was not that successful.

One of the original G-Sport hubs laced to an Odyssey ultra light rim. Those original G Sport hubs were really amazing. Never had a hub that nice on any of my bikes (even my CX race bikes with Dura Ace and Campy).

Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout

Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout

If I could only pick one all time favorite beer (which I think is impossible at this point having tasted so many delicious ones at this point) it would be Sammy Smiths Oatmeal Stout. This was the first "real" good beer I tried and loved. I still love it. It's dark, but not heavy, with a distinct flavor and it looks great in a glass.
