snowberry clearwing moth
two in a week! this little speedy visited while i was watering the garden. i ran in and grabbed the camera- fired off a few. this is a different species and was more timid than the other one, wouldn't let me get as close. it flew off after only a minute. i think this one flapped its wings even faster than the hummingbird clearwing.
