“Isabella” dedicated to Mount Pleasant High School Sculpture Curriculum by Kemly Tan Bappe, Mount Pleasant High School artists and students.

A cultural garden event, the My Fair(field) Ladies on Main Street mannequin exhibit is sponsored by The Fairfield Art Association. Mannequins will be on display in the downtown area gardens along Main Street in Fairfield, IA from June 5th to September 4th, 2009. Made possible by a grant from the Convention and Visitors Bureau.

 

Isabella

 

Amidst the sky’s cerulean blue,

Yet forested in ornament,

Glides Isabella, whose debut

Lends fashionistas deep content.

 

With timeless elegance she floats,

Above the fray of trendy gimmick,

While wannabes can only dote,

On what they ape, but can’t quite mimic.

 

A world apart and unalloyed,

Her beauty’s depth cannot be sounded,

So simply gaze and just enjoy

Her loveliness, which spreads unbounded.
