It's beautiful, is what it is. Beautiful and cruel, considering it's only 28 damned degrees here. Still, it's nice to be reminded that the sky is blue somewhere and flowers are blossoming and the color green actually exists in nature.

This flower is absolutely beautiful!

I heard on the news yesterday that you have an extraordinarily warm winter (there was a report about a big fire near - oh my, forgotten, was it - Los Angeles?!)

Thanks Angela. :)

Britta -- the fire is (i believe) in Orange County which is just south of LA and about four hours south of us. But still.

Our February last year was unseasonably warm. Not so this year! The rains have finally slacked off a bit and we had a little sun yesterday and again this afternoon, but too cold! Wish I could be there to soak up some sun with the poppies. Beautiful shot. Macro on! You do it very nicely. :)

bodhi, i've been meaning to write you about that (what i think you are implying)... my snap fear has come true! ;) i think i'll survive. :)

moine, is your planet pluto? ;) (just checked, ah, monreal) but you will have a marvelous spring so soon. :) and thank you.

criana, i think connecticut isn't so far from montreal. :) soon all of you will be swooning as the buds begin to blossom. :)

If macromasters are better than you in this shot, I've yet to see it. =)

In spite of a warmer than average winter, it snowed here last night. And for a short while, we had snow this morning. Unfortunately not nearly enough to cause a snow day...
