• boiled potatoes
  • blanched cauliflower and green beans
  • shredded raw cabbage
  • shredded raw carrot
  • beansprout - extra crunch!
  • slowly caremalised and crispy onions - not to be forgotten!
  • bumbu sate (satay sauce)
  • hard boiled eggs
  • a nice cold beer
  • egg slicer - seems kinda unnecessary until you realise you can slice the potatoes with it too: magic!
  • KECAP: sweet, thick indonesian soyish sauce

Gado Gado ingredients

Gado Gado is an Indonesian staple introduced to me by Rebecca during her residency in Jakarta - it is essentially a satay sauce to be served on a salad of cold vegetables.
