- boiled potatoes
- blanched cauliflower and green beans
- shredded raw cabbage
- shredded raw carrot
- beansprout - extra crunch!
- slowly caremalised and crispy onions - not to be forgotten!
- bumbu sate (satay sauce)
- hard boiled eggs
- a nice cold beer
- egg slicer - seems kinda unnecessary until you realise you can slice the potatoes with it too: magic!
- KECAP: sweet, thick indonesian soyish sauce
Gado Gado ingredients
Gado Gado is an Indonesian staple introduced to me by Rebecca during
her residency in Jakarta - it is essentially a satay sauce to be
served on a salad of cold vegetables.
