My name is Emaleigh. No, I didn't make that up and yes, it's pronounced just like that other Emily. I once met writer David Sedaris, and like many others, he inquired about the spelling by saying, "Oh that's cool, did you make that up?" To which I replied something like, "No. Thank my mother." He then proceed to sign my book: "Dear Emaleigh, Your mom is so f$@*ed-up." Then, he stamped it with a rubber stamp depicting a trio of mushrooms.
