Nottingham Castle

Nottingham Castle by adamXc.
The Ducal mansion of the 2nd Duke of Newcastle built between 1674 and 1679 on the site of the original medieval castle built by William The Conqueror in 1067. The original castle was used by Charles I during the English Civil War and was demolished after his execution to prevent its reuse.

Sadly, the flag has recently been stolen by vandals who also damaged the flagpole which means that there won't be a flag over the castle in the near future.
