Buildings and monuments down High Holborn, at the beginning of the City of London.
Barnard's Inn is the current home of Gresham College. It dates back to the 13th century. It has been used as a venue for lectures for Gresham College since 1991.
This is Gresham College on High Holborn. It is an unusual college in that it enrolls no students and grants no degrees.
It has existed since 1597, it provides lectures free and open to the public under the will of Sir Thomas Gresham. It has been here longer than any other London University, excepting the quasi-university of the Inns of Court.
