{April 1} finally

I finally, after weeks of experimentation, figured out how to get perfect light in my apartment. It involves hoisting things, working in a space that is 2 square feet and eventually, I'm sure, a tripod in the sink. But it works.

All this just in time for yet again rapid change, as I've accepted a position in Moscow, Russia and will be leaving at the end of the month. Just when I thought I'd settled in....someone please take me out of my short attention span misery.

thank you all for the nice comments. it took weeks of blurry, underlit, over ISO-ed photos to finally figure this all out and my newest "teabag" filter for my flash. learning to be industrious and resourceful over here. just like macgyver.

and NO, I AM NOT MOVING TO MOSCOW. I think Texas gets cold. Moscow? To live? Really?
