Sandhills Over the Snowy Peaks

Two Lesser Sandhill Cranes fly low over the snow-covered mountains.

The snow on the plains below gave an incredible soft fill light to these shots.

African Oryx

Gorgeous male African Oryx hanging out near White Sands Missile Range. These animals were introduced many years ago as a game animal and imported from Africa. They now roam freely at the missile range. This is a full frame uncropped image from about 30 feet away.
